After waking up in a strange city with no recollection of her whereabouts or her purpose, Q3 slowly begins to remember her past.

She was sent by the U.W.N government as part of a special task force to research and wipe out the source of a new disease believed to be engineered by the extraterrestrials who had arrived on Earth several years earlier after the discovery of "Illectus".

"Illectus" is known to be the source of a magical girl's power. They are fragments of several meteorites which had crashed on Earth, allow the bearer to bend reality to their whim to a certain extent. 

The discovery of "Illectus" lead to a world-wide arms race which was cut abruptly by the arrival of the extraterrestrials, causing the nations of the world to unite against the common threat they posed. Thus, a special program was concieved by the U.W.N to combat the extraterrestrial forces - magical girls.

As Q3 ventures deeper into the strange city, she realises that things don't feel right. Where are her task force members? Or those who once inhabited the city?

Move by using arrow keys.

Your goal is to travel left-wards, towards the boss.




There are three type of rooms:

1. Battle room (Fight a battle)

2. Chest room. Gem on corner of card. (No battle, chance to receive modules)

3. Special room. Gem on corner of card and sparkles. (Hard battle, chance to receive spells. Currently only the "Healing Rays" spell can be collected)

Move up and down the timeline with arrow keys.

Select a move using keys: 1, 2, 3.

Delete current move with space.

Switch between magic and attack pallete with A.

Complete the turn with Space.


At first, you can only see two moves from the enemy's timeline as well as any preparations. Other moves will be displayed with a "?". Gain modules to increase the number of visible moves.

More powerful attacks, such as the heavy attack, will take up two timeline slots. The first slot, assigned to "preparation" can be seen by the enemy - and vice-versa.

This means you can deliberately leak preparations to trick the enemy into placing a counter-effective move, allowing you to stun them.


Utilise the efficacy cycle to stun enemies:


Guard beats heavy attack, heavy attack beats magic, magic beats guard.

Successfully stun the enemy by using a super effective move.

When an enemy is stunned, the slot below will free up (a "!" will be displayed). Place a Light Attack to stagger the enemy - nullifying all their moves for that turn.

While staggered, "Chains of Light" can be used to "chain" the enemy - stopping them from making a move the turn after.




The more moves you place on the timeline, the less mana you'll gain that turn - limiting your usage of magic.

nice design, looking sweet, but gameplay is a bit repetitive at the moment.

Unfortunately, a lot of content had to be cut to meet the jam deadline. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to come back and finish this one off though.
